When selecting wallpaper from us, you can always count on receiving top-quality materials—no matter which option you choose. Both our standard wallpaper and peel & stick wallpaper are made from high-grade, non-woven material.
Below, you’ll find detailed information on how to install murals based on the material type. However, the general installation process for photo-wall murals remains the same regardless of the material selected.

Standard
Our classic non-woven wallpaper is a versatile and enduring choice—ideal for everything from a single feature wall to a full home makeover. It is our primary recommendation—and the preferred choice among professional installers. It offers a smoother installation process and consistently delivers flawless results.
We recommend this option if you are wallpapering:
- Multiple walls
- Larger rooms
- Ceilings

Peel & Stick
Our Peel & Stick wallpaper (Self-adhesive | Non-woven) is perfect for those who enjoy updating their spaces more frequently or need a temporary solution. This removable option offers both ease and flexibility.
Ideal for:
- Children’s rooms
- Dormitories
- Events
- Smaller spaces or feature walls
We do not recommend installing Peel & Stick on material as shown below:
- Textured or structured surfaces
- Untreated plasterboard or drywall
- High-gloss painted walls
- Areas with significant temperature or humidity changes (e.g., bathrooms)
- Ceilings
Our Peel & Stick wallpaper should be installed within six months. The wallpaper should be stored in normal conditions and at normal temperatures without sun exposure

Technical Peel & Stick Sample
When ordering samples, you have the option to include a technical Peel & Stick sample. This is available exclusively for on-demand printed wallpaper murals.
Please note:
- This is a material sample only; it does not represent pattern or color.
- The surface and color quality will match that of our standard wallpaper, so you can expect the same finish and tones when using Peel & Stick.
This sample allows you to test the material's adhesion and compatibility with your specific wall surface.

The mural is printed with our soft and non-reflective matte finish. The material adds an exclusive look and touch to your walls. The wallpaper is printed on a non-woven paper reinforced with nylon fibers that create no VOC (Volatile organic compound) in room temperature. We print with all natural non-toxic color compounds that produce no VOC.

To achieve perfect pattern alignment and a professional finish:

➕ Wallpapering multiple connected walls?
Add together the total width of all continuous walls when requesting a quote. This ensures your mural is printed as one seamless design. -
✂️ Add extra inches for trimming
We recommend adding at least 2 inches to both the width and height to allow for wall irregularities and precise installation. -
🚪 Include windows and doors
These openings should be included in your total wall width. They’ll be cut out during installation but must be counted for accurate printing and design alignment.

Our orders of samples ship for free with USPS from our showroom in Florida.
Free shipping on orders of wallpaper rolls over $150. $45 shipping rate on roll orders under $150. We use UPS, FedEx and DHL for all wallpaper roll orders.
Within the US: The standard estimated lead time for regular wallpaper roll orders is 6–8 business days from the time of order to delivery.
The estimated lead time for our customized wallpaper is 10-15* business days.
Please note that we aim to dispatch all orders within 2-4 business days, subject to payment clearance and stock availability. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, excluding Swedish and American public holidays. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and will begin once your payment has been processed. Please be aware that we are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.
Standard products purchased through Scandinavian Wallpaper may be returned for any reason within 45 days from your original purchase from our website. We recommend ordering a sample of the items before purchasing the rolls, as the color may appear differently on your screen.
Items must be returned in their original (still in plastic wrapping) product packaging. A 25% re-stocking fee will be applied to wallpaper returns. Return shipments must be made in appropriate packaging and at customer's expense. Once the returned wallpaper has been verified in good condition a refund will be issued. Wallpaper samples may not be returned for any reason. Contact us at cs@scandinavianwallpaper.com with your return request.

You have no right to return a product made to your specifications or that is clearly personalized. As a general rule, all of our photo-walls/murals are made to our customer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.
