💡 Measuring Tips

To achieve perfect pattern alignment and a professional finish:

• ➕ Wallpapering multiple connected walls?
  Add together the total width of all continuous walls when requesting a quote. This ensures your mural is printed as one seamless design.

• ✂️ Add extra inches for trimming
  We recommend adding at least 2 inches to both the width and height to allow for wall irregularities and precise installation.

• 🚪 Include windows and doors
  These openings should be included in your total wall width. They’ll be cut out during installation but must be counted for accurate printing and design alignment.

👉 Tip: When submitting your measurements through our “Request a Quote” form, include an additional 2 inches on each side for trimming. This helps achieve a clean, professional finish even on uneven walls.

• Each mural is printed to your exact measurements.

• Scissor markings show where to cut each strip.

• Every other strip is printed upside down to optimize material use — simply flip those strips before installation.

• Strips are numbered in order (left to right) for easy hanging.

1. Lay wallpaper flat on a clean surface.

2. Cut strips along the scissor markings.

3. Flip every second strip right-side up.

4. Apply non-woven adhesive (paste only) directly to the wall.

5. Do not overlap strips or use combination glues.

Shipping

Wallpaper samples ship free via USPS from our showroom in Sarasota, Florida.

We offer free shipping on wallpaper roll orders over $150. A flat $45 shipping fee applies to wallpaper roll orders under $150. Wallpaper roll orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx, or DHL.

Within the U.S.: The estimated lead time for most of our standard wallpaper roll orders is 6–8 business days from order placement to delivery.

Select designs from Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik are printed to order and have an estimated lead time of 3–4 weeks. Products with an extended lead time are clearly noted on the individual product page.

Our customized and made-to-measure wallpaper murals have an estimated lead time of 10–15 business days from order placement to delivery.

We aim to dispatch standard orders within 2–4 business days, subject to payment clearance and stock availability. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding applicable Swedish and U.S. public holidays.

All delivery times are estimates and are provided as a guide only. International shipments may occasionally experience delays during customs clearance. Scandinavian Wallpaper is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, shipping carriers, or other circumstances outside our control.

Returns & Refunds

Standard wallpaper products purchased from Scandinavian Wallpaper may be returned within 45 days of the original purchase date. We recommend ordering a sample before purchasing wallpaper rolls, as colors may appear differently on your screen than they do in person.

Return Requirements

To be eligible for a return:

• Wallpaper rolls must be unopened and in their original plastic wrapping.
• Returns must be shipped in appropriate packaging to prevent damage during transit.
• Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
• A 25% restocking fee applies to returned wallpaper rolls.
• Once we receive and inspect the returned wallpaper and confirm that it is in good, resalable condition, the applicable refund will be issued.
• Wallpaper samples are non-returnable.

Custom & Personalized Products

Products that are made to your specifications or otherwise customized or personalized are not eligible for return or refund.

This includes our custom-printed wallpaper murals, which are produced specifically for each customer based on the measurements, design specifications, and/or other selections provided and approved at the time of ordering.

We strongly recommend carefully reviewing all measurements, design previews, and specifications before approving a custom order. Once a custom order has been approved and submitted for production, it cannot be returned or refunded.
